There's nothing like a weekend packed full of youth, sugar, and Jesus to make you think about the life you've been given. I know that the Holy Spirit was moving in that place. I was a small group leader, and I know that I got a lot out of it. I hope the youth did too.
My thoughts are scattered still, but I thought you should know them...
1. I have focused so much on where God is taking me and what the future holds that I have neglected the present. God doesn't just have a plan for me, He is currently working in me. RIGHT NOW. What am I doing for Him every day of my life? living for Him.
2. If there aren't things in your life that you couldn't do without Him, you aren't living it right. My friend, Woods, showed me this. Sometimes there are things are already know, but you just have to be told for them to stick. We are called to be crazy, radical and in love with Christ. When did we stop? We need to get back on it...if Christ is our example, we are failing!
3. I have a passion for lots of things: music (singing specifically), organizing (not so much leading), work (like construction), and water (everyone deserves fresh, clean water every day without having to walk miles to get it.
4. I want to sell everything I own. I want to fully devote myself to Him. I want to rely on Him for everything. I want to be a blessing to other people so that I can bring the gospel to the nations.
5. I LOVE YOU. uh huh, you.
